House extension & re-organisation, Donnybrook, Dublin, IRELAND
This single storey extension attempts to resolve an existing suburban over-looking condition, while maintaining direct and varied sunlight throughout the day.
A direct relationship with a redesigned garden is established through low-level window, while a connection to a context beyond the site is achieved through a large, high-level, glazed roof light.
Internally, the existing ground floor plan is reorganised to allow for independent areas of work and rest.
